Soft K Lens

auf der Suche nach Alternative zur RGP Linse bin ich auf die SOFT K Linse gestoßen. Auf mein Anfragen hin habe ich folgendes email bekommen:

In regard to your question of are these lenses available in Austria. I believe they can be. I am copying this email to my colleagues at Soflex, where the lenses are made, in Europe. They will contact you for a Practitioner near your location you may be able to contact to schedule a fitting. I handle all the distribution in the United States.



In regard to your question about can they work for people with corneal transplants. Yes, this lens may be an excellent option for your consideration. The Soft K lens recently received an FDA approval here in the Untied States for use following Post Surgery. The comfort you report with your GP lenses is very common. The Soft K will 99% of the time prove more comfortable than GPs.



There are a lot of considerations to a successful criteria in fitting a post surgical corneas. Your eyecare practitioner will help you decide what option will be the best for you. I expect Ettie of Robyn will contact you by email as to who you may see in Austria. You may want to be pro-active and send them the name of your practitioner to allow them to contact him directly.

Hallo,

also, ich war heute bei meiner Optikerin wegen der Soft k Linse. Der Sitz war gut und die Sehleistung fast 100%.Jedoch hat sie mir geraten, wenn ich die harten Linsen vertrage, diese zu verwenden, da die Sauerstoffversorgung einfach nicht gut ist bei den Soft K. Kosten würde 1 Linse 250 Euro. Also hab ich dafür entschieden, dass ich bei den harten Linsen bleibe.
